Bring Him Home

With Mother's day approaching I thought of mine and what she went through while I was in Vietnam. And what all women go through when a son or husband or father or brother is in harm's way. I couldn't help but think of the touching song from Les Miserables, Bring Him Home, so that seemed a fitting title.

This is called "Soldiers" It is oil pastel on bristol board. I like to venture out now and then and just do something out of my head. I don't know exactly what inspired this other than what emerged out of my initial scribbling!
